Viva Las Vegas!

Oh what a week! Relaxing in Indo, a mad trip to the markets in Seoul, South Korea, and then little us arriving in the land of big.... US of A!

2 days ago we drove from LA to Las Vegas in the spirit of Hunter S Thompson, only instead of the ether, with jetlag and tripping out about driving on the wrong "right" side of the road.
We passed through semi-arid desert with Joshua trees, ghost towns, trailer parks, and random 50's diners (Sarah's kitsch 50's dream come true!).

We hit Vegas in a blur of exhaustion, bright lights and excitement... landing at the iconic Circus Circus! (one of Vegas' original casinos)

Vegas is what America does best, it is a supersized, charged up playground for indulgence.

In perfect balmy weather, walking down the strip, margaritas in hand, in one day we have visited Paris, Venice, New York and got our circus fix at the sexy Cirque du Soleil's Vegas based show, "Zumanity," our favourite Cirque show yet.

... and, Dar da da dum... Wedding bells will be ringing very very shortly, most likely Friday early evening Australian time. Watch this space for a live stream link ;-)

  1. Looking forward to tomorrow and hope the link works ok. Will you get a dvd of the video? The quality by the time EarthCam gets here isn't real flash.
